Zacchaeus, who is a tax collector. He is a sinner, he is not a good guy at all. He invites Jesus into his home, and Zacchaeus is changed forever. And so a great question is have we ever invited Jesus into our home? Guess what? As Catholics, we have something even better. Whenever we receive the Eucharist, we invite Jesus, His body, His blood, His whole self into our very bodies, into our hearts. That is the beauty of the Eucharist. That is the most incredible awesome thing that we have as Catholics. Jesus gave us Himself that we can receive every single day if we want to. So my invitation is wherever you are right now if you want, if you can, if it’s possible.
Through God all things are possible. So jot that down. Just go visit the nearest tabernacle to you. Be with Him, be with His body, and just know that the next time that you receive the Eucharist that cannot only change your heart. That can change your whole life.
