Let Jesus Satisfy
St. John the Baptist might be the original hipster, organic locusts, honey, vintage camel hair, but more importantly, he was the first to point to Jesus and say, “Behold the Lamb of God.” He reminds us that only Jesus can truly satisfy. Even our best moments can still feel incomplete. One student described the “best day of her life” surrounded by everyone she loved… yet something was missing. She realized that missing piece was Jesus. Joy is good but without Him, it never feels whole. This Advent, get your priorities straight: let Jesus be the one who fills what nothing else can. Point to Him, stay focused, and don’t waste the weeks leading up to Christmas.
What Is Grace?
We hear the word grace all the time. But what does it actually mean? Is it magic? A platitude? Just “heaven points”? In this first episode of Ask A Priest, Father Tim unpacks the heart of grace: God’s very life within us, His invitation to live and love with Him. From the sacraments that give us sanctifying grace to those small nudges we call…

The Perfect Love Triangle
My life with the Vampire Diaries, Twilight, Stranger Things, and Outer Banks. What do all of these things have in common? Love triangles and maybe not the most wholesome love triangles. Today, we celebrate the solemnity of the Most Blessed Trinity, the most perfect and profound love relationship, a love triangle between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is what we desire. We want that perfect…
Focal Point in Life
So, were you aware that the new pope is an art critic? Pope Leo XIV, in his first-ever Wednesday audience, used a painting from Van Gogh called “Sower at Sunset.” In this painting, Pope Leo explains that the sower, the one who plants the seeds, is not the focal point of the painting. The focal point of the painting is the sun. It is the sun that produces the fruit. It is the sun that creates the life. And that is our…
The Exodus and Jubilee ft. Dr. John Bergsma
What does true freedom look like, and how can we restore what was lost? In the Book of Exodus, the Israelites’ journey from slavery to freedom is a profound story of spiritual liberation. Led by Moses, they confront the oppressive forces of Egypt and experience God’s miraculous intervention through the plagues, ultimately leading to their escape and journey toward the Promised Land…
