Love never fails. Faith may come to an end when we see God face to face. Hope can end because what we’re hoping for has been fulfilled by then. But love never ends. Love never fails because in heaven, what will we do with God and all the angels and all the saints? Enjoy that relationship of love. You can see that there is joy and happiness wherever there is love. You know, God loved us first. Our job is to return His love. The love of God compels us. It urges us on.
So that no matter what you are doing, you do it out of the love of God. You see people going out of their way, doing ordinary and extraordinary things. What pushes them? What urges them? Love of God and love of neighbor. People’s hearts melt when love comes in, no matter how hardened they are. Try it.
