Matthew 25:40 says I lost it. I hope that 40 was on the next page. “And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me.'” If President Biden or Pope Francis comes here and wants a cup of water, everybody will run scatter-skelter, falling on each other to provide them a cup of water.
For somebody more important, our Redeemer, our Savior, the Son of God, the Son of Man, says, “If you give water to any of these needy of mine, you are doing it to me.” Take this seriously. There are many poor people around us. So whenever you help anybody, especially the poor, remember you do it for the Lord. Is it up to one minute? Yes.
