This has got bad news written all over it. If you have ever seen “Chernobyl,” “Godzilla,” or “The Simpsons,” you know that radiation is silent. You don’t feel anything, and it can change you. Similarly, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is just like that, only it gives you life and doesn’t kill you. When we go to adoration, it is silent. We don’t feel anything, but it is super effective. The radiating love of Jesus Christ is there, and we are receiving his love in adoration. The gospel for this Sunday is so beautiful because Jesus reveals himself to the disciples in the breaking of the bread. Jesus Christ reveals himself at every Eucharist. If we want to be close to Jesus and receive that radiating love, then we can go to him in the Eucharist. This is just a hot take. Right now, there is no better way to be loved by Jesus Christ than in the Eucharist.

God Keeps His Promises
So I’m sure many of you during school have had a teacher like Professor Trelawney. That’s right. Someone is a bit goofy, and she is someone who has a few screws loose but is nice. Professor Trelawney is a prophet, but the thing with Professor Trelawney is that she barely ever gets anything right. But who is someone who predicts the…

Resurrection of the Body
So, Captain America is obviously the best out of all the superheroes. When he receives the soldier serum, he becomes more of himself. He doesn’t become less of himself. He becomes perfected. Before the serum, he was weak, but he was good. After the serum, he is still good and perfected. This is precisely what Jesus says in the gospel today: that we believe in the…
