Today is the Feast Day of the Holy Family. And what better thing to talk about than “Fast and the Furious.” Dominic Toretto is amazing at driving fast. But he is more impressive with protecting his family. My favorite quote from the ninth movie is, “The worst thing you can do to a Toretto is take away his family.” Translate that to our faith, and oh my gosh, the worst thing that you can do to God the Father is take away his family. We are taken away from our relationship with the Father through our sins. But the Father is willing to go to great lengths to bring us back, to send his only son so that we can be brought back into his family.
You are always a son and a daughter of the Father. This is the incredible news. For us to get back to him, what are you willing to do to get close to the Father? This is Spirit Juice: peace.

15 Days from Easter
Guys, we are 15 days away from Easter. Fifteen days is not a long time, and it takes 15 days to walk from New York to Florida and 15 days to watch all of the episodes and seasons of “The Bachelor.” Side note, if you watch “The Bachelor,” stop and go to confession. In the Gospel today, we have a foreshadowing of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and…

Waiting Like Mary
Ever wonder where the Pope goes on vacation? Castel Gandolfo, a quiet, beautiful place where a statue of Our Lady points to her Immaculate Heart with the words cor meum vigilat: “My heart is ever vigilant” As we enter the First Sunday of Advent, the Gospel calls us to that same posture: be prepared. We don’t know the day or the hour, but Mary shows us the best way to wait. Her whole life was marked by trust. From Jesus’ childhood to His Passion, she remained vigilant, steady, and confident that the Father would take care of everything. This Advent, we’re invited to wait like Mary, with a heart that’s watchful, calm, and full of trust in our Father.

Immaculate Conception
One of the things that I absolutely love about Buddy the Elf is the fact that he is so innocent. He is so pure. He is so humble. And a lot of that has to do with the fact that Santa. Takes him out of the orphanage and Buddy lives in the North Pole. He is preserved from the craziness of the world. This is the reason why…
