Are you feeling like you need a cleanse? Check this out. We know that purgatory is a transitional place where the dead who are not yet ready to go to heaven are. And maybe they have venial sins around them, and it is in that place that you will be purified and get prepared to go to heaven. That means the people have already been saved but must stay in purgatory. Prayers can also help them. The God who is merciful and kind will have mercy on them and take them to paradise. The more we release people from purgatory, the more they will go to heaven. And you know, they will also intercede for you when they go there.
You can offer masses, pray, and do penance for them. You can even receive spiritual communion for them, especially if they’re Catholics. Pray for them, whether they’re your parents, relatives, brothers, sisters, friends, or whoever.

Good Listener
Hey, are you a good listener? This one is for you. So, praying is the first thing somebody decides when entering religious life. As you pray, you seek advice. Don’t keep it to yourself. I repeat, don’t keep it to yourself. Samuel, he had this call. He wasn’t sure, but he thought he was guessing. “Maybe it is Eli.” Eli told Samuel, saying, “Speak, Lord; your servant is listening.” And that’s when we pray, asking the Lord what you want…

Yearning For God
Listen. I haven’t tried to die, so I can’t explain what I don’t know. But this is what I’m trying to say: there is a struggle in that moment of death. All hope is almost lost. And suddenly, it is clear that this person is about to die. Saint Augustine said, “We yearn for the Lord.” That yearning for God may come fully to you. At that moment, you have no more hope of anything other than the God who made you, who you are…

You Did It To Me
Matthew 25:40 says I lost it. I hope that 40 was on the next page. “And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me.'” If President Biden or Pope Francis comes here and wants a cup of water, everybody will run scatter-skelter, falling on each other to provide them…
