23andMe has nothing on the Catholic Church. They got nothing. They have nothing on this Pentecost Sunday; Jesus Christ reminds us that we, as a church, have a genealogy that goes back to Jesus Christ. As human beings, we have a deep desire to be safe and taken care of, and it is through Jesus Christ and His church that we find this safety. All we have to do is look at Pope Leo the 14th. We look at everyone who came before him, all the way to St. Peter, our first Pope, all the way to Jesus Christ. This is the most fantastic news ever: that we, as Catholics, will be safe until the end of time. The most fantastic news is that we have an unbroken chain of apostolic succession that will continue until the end of time.

That’s the crazy thing. Dr. Strange has to keep it a secret to preserve the timeline and save the world. Today, on this Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception, Mary is preserved from Original Sin by the merits of Jesus Christ…

Fear of Being Less of Ourselves

The demon spirit tells Jesus, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us?” We say that to…

Easter 2024
So, the greatest victory I have ever witnessed in my entire life happened at 11:47PM on November 2nd, 2016. That’s right, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Greatest victory ever! But the crazy thing is, that is nothing compared to what we celebrate today: victory over death. We celebrate today, Easter Sunday, the resurrection, where Jesus Christ is…
