Wi-Fi, Faith and Jesus

Faith is a lot like Wi-Fi. It isn’t the internet itself. Rather, it’s the signal that connects us to the source.

In this Sunday’s Gospel, the woman’s faith matters, but her faith is not what heals her daughter. Jesus heals her daughter. Faith connects her to Him, and He is the source of healing, miracles, and mercy. That takes the pressure off of us. We don’t have to manufacture perfect faith to earn God’s help. We simply bring our faith to Jesus, stay connected to Him, and trust that He is the one who heals.
