Merry Christmas, everyone. Merry Christmas, y’all. Merry Christmas, mom. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown. This day is a day of intimacy that the Incarnation is all about intimacy. It’s God literally becoming flesh, becoming one of us, so that we can love Him, we can know Him, and we can live with Him forever. There is no greater love story than the Incarnation. There is no greater love story than the Pascal Mystery. This is the intimacy that God desires with you. And not only that, when you go to mass today, God becomes flesh again so that you can receive Him, you can receive His heart. Are you willing to respond in intimacy with Him? Are you willing to open up your heart because He has opened up His heart for you? He’s opened up His side for you, and so will you open up your heart for Him? Blessed Christmas to all of you.

Will You Know Jesus?
If I were blindfolded and placed in front of a lineup of women, one of them being my mom, I absolutely would be able to choose my mom out of the lineup because I know her. I know how she speaks to me. I know what she smells like. I know everything about her. I know it all. In the gospel for this Sunday, Jesus speaks to those who are not prepared, amen. I do not know you. It’s terrifying…

He Raises The Dead
Lazarus was dead and then he wasn’t. That’s the power of Jesus. He raises the dead.
In this Sunday’s Gospel, we’re reminded that this isn’t just a one-time miracle. Through the life of the Church, Jesus continues to bring people from death to life. In the sacraments, especially Confession and the Eucharist, we’re renewed, restored, and made fully alive again.
That’s what it means to be Christian. Not just following rules or being “nice but stepping into a life where grace transforms us, and through us, brings others back to life.

Strong and Unbreakable
So, when I was a kid, something traumatic happened to me. Plants invaded our house. Vines from the outside got so strong that they started to destroy our brick wall. You can see my dad peeling off that plant carpet that got so strong that it was destroying our brick. In the Gospel for this Sunday, Jesus says, “I am the vine; you are the branches.” Jesus is the great unifier. We are all…
