So, the latest Terminator movie was set for the future in 2024. It was predicted that by 2024, artificial intelligence would take over the world. Well, we are now past 2024. It is a new year, and AI hasn’t conquered us yet. But we always fear that we have no clue what will happen in this new year. Crazy things may happen, heartbreaking things may happen, amazing things may happen, but guess what? Jesus stays the same. No matter what happens this year, Jesus always remains the same. The order of the Carthusian monks has a motto and slogan: “The cross stays while the world turns.” Jesus is always our constant, no matter what is happening. He never changes. He is always with you. Have an incredible New Year. I’m praying for all of you. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

They feel they experience the realness of Jesus’ divinity, but then they go down the hill, and Jesus seems to have…

God is a Just God
The Gospel for this Sunday is all about the judge. You know who is a bad judge? Scarecrow from “The Dark Knight Rises.” Scarecrow is one of the villains who presides over a kangaroo court, condemning the aristocracy to death. And he gives them two options, either death or exile. And both of those options lead to death…

Don’t Take Away His Family
Today is the Feast Day of the Holy Family. And what better thing to talk about than “Fast and the Furious.” Dominic Toretto is amazing at driving fast. But he is more impressive with protecting his family. My favorite quote from the ninth movie is, “The worst thing you can do to a Toretto is take away his family.” Translate that to our faith, and oh my gosh, the worst thing that you can do to God the Father…
