So, this Sunday is so awesome. We are celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas. All of these candles will be brought into the church and blessed because we are celebrating the light of Christ coming into the temple for the first time. The people of Israel have been waiting for this moment forever. This would be like all of our churches having an empty tabernacle for hundreds of years. Finally, God is present. God is now present in the temple, and this is a realization that the Father always keeps his promises.
So, have an incredible Feast Day of the presentation. I’ll be praying for all of you. Know that the Father always keeps his promises, and the light of Christ will never be put out. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

Saint Paul doesn’t boast of his successes and awesomeness. He boasts of his weaknesses. His weaknesses are what makes him strong, offering his vulnerability to Jesus. For Saint Paul, he has a huge list for his resume. He has…

What Defines You
If Iron Man got rid of his suit, who would he be? Genius, billionaire, Playboy from? Okay. Yeah. He would be all of those things. But Tony Stark is more than what he does, and it’s the same for us. Our identity is not what we do, but how we work. Take those things away. Who are we? And the gospel for this Sunday. Martha is identifying with her work. Her work is good, but her identity is not her work. Her identity…

Gonna Eat God
One time, I was exciting a bunch of second graders in their classroom, getting them ready for their first Holy Communion. And so I asked them, boys and girls, what are you most excited about about receiving your first Holy Communion? So, one kid raised his hand high in the air, and I called on him. He said, ‘We get to eat God.’ Exactly. It sounds a little crazy and a little radical, but this kid canonizes him right now…
