Book recommendation for all of you, “The Great Divorce” by C.S. Lewis. If you still need to read it, do it now. This incredible book talks about heaven and talks about knowing the Lord. There’s a scene where a bus takes many people to heaven. When they reach heaven, the people who did know Jesus become fully alive.
The people who don’t know Jesus are very uncomfortable, some are bored, and many don’t care about being there. Jesus, in the Gospel today, he’s saying, “I’ve prepared a place for you.” Jesus wants to be with you forever, but we can’t be with someone we don’t know. Just imagine being married to someone and not knowing their heart. Now, imagine spending eternity with your creator and not knowing their heart.
The great news is that we can know the Lord’s heart in scripture, church, tradition, and everything. Learn about the Lord’s heart, get to know him, and we will prepare our hearts for heaven.

This little 2-year-old boy felt safe amid a vast, powerful, dangerous ocean because he knew…

Easter

In the Holy Sepulchre, there is the tomb where they laid the body of Jesus, and I went inside. Guys, you will not believe what I saw. I saw nothing. There was nothing. There was no one because Jesus Christ had risen from…

Best Practical Self-Help
So lately, my internet algorithm has been leading me to practical self-help stuff. So apparently, I need help. But the reality is, most of us attend self-help groups because we want to grow. We want to grow in our social skills and our health: Jesus and the gospel offer efficient guidance. Jesus says, Don’t store up treasures and riches for yourself. That will not fulfill you, that will not satisfy you, that will not bring you…
