In the gospel for the Sunday, Jesus shares with us, “If a brother sins against you, go to that brother and share his fault with him alone.” This message is so powerful for us, and we can take this teaching and completely ignore it. What do we do when someone sins against us when someone hurts us? We tell every single person in the universe except for them.
The church shares with us that Jesus is the Divine Physician. He’s the one who always desires to heal and bring union. We can imitate Jesus by going to our brother who has hurt us but desires healing and union. You look at Jesus in the Divine Mercy image, and he never holds his hand up in a fist. Jesus always has his hand held out, showing his wounds, desiring healing, having his hand out in blessing. Broken relationships stay broken if we don’t desire and act to heal.

In the gospel for this Sunday, Jesus…
