So, one of my buddies is a perpetual pilgrim for the Eucharistic revival, meaning he will walk across the country, over 2000 miles, with the Eucharist, with Jesus. That’s like 645 hours. That’s the equivalent of watching all of the seasons of “The Office” nonstop, eight times in a row. That’s the equivalent of reading the Bible cover to cover nonstop 13 times in a row. So why is he doing this? He is willing to witness the truth of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Today, we celebrate Corpus Christi, the solemnity of the most holy body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. My invitation on Corpus Christi, what are you willing to witness to when it comes to the Eucharist? And what maybe are you willing not to witness regarding the Eucharist? It’s a spicy question, but it needs to be asked and answered in our hearts. This is Spirit Juice. Peace.

Eight Words To Reject Satan
Eight simple words can change everything: “In the name of Jesus, I reject temptation.”
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus confronts temptation directly, and rejects it with clarity and authority. We’re invited to do the same. Whether it’s lust, gossip, pride, anger, or any other struggle, we don’t fight alone. We dare to use His name.
As Pope Benedict XVI taught, Christianity isn’t just an idea, it’s an encounter with a Person. And nothing is more personal than calling on His name. This Lent, make it simple. Use the name of Jesus and reject whatever pulls you away from Him.

Start Small
So at the foot of the mountain of Assisi. There is a beautiful church called Saint Mary of the Angels. Inside the church is another very small church called the Portiuncula, which is where Saint Francis began his mission. He didn’t begin as one who was feeding the whole world. He was just a simple man who said yes in a…

Greatest Christmas Present
On Christmas Day, the math is surprisingly simple: the person who has God has everything, the person who doesn’t have God has nothing, and the person who has God plus everything else is no greater than the one who has God alone. That’s the heart of Christmas. God doesn’t just give us something. He gives us Himself. Jesus is the greatest gift ever offered, fully given and fully available to us. This Christmas, we’re invited to receive the gift that truly satisfies: God with us.
