Summer Blockbuster Challenge

Once used to describe a specific type of bomb from World War II, the term “blockbuster” is now a tag applied to a Hollywood movie that’s made with: a large budget, big stars, heavy promotion, and ending as a highly profitable and successful venture for the film studio.

Not all are created equal, though, as our informal focus group rates which of the four widely-hyped and widely-released films of the summer will fare to the viewing public. Watch as Toy Story 4, Spiderman: Far From Home, The Lion King, and Hobbs & Shaw pass through the panel, and see which comes out on top.
