“Love rejoices in the truth. It rejoices in the right.” Truth gives us the reality as it is, without falsifying it. But the problem is, are we ready for it? Sometimes, the truth hurts. Especially if it is being told about us. And we don’t want our idiosyncrasies to be exposed, our mistakes. It hurts, but the truth has to be told because truth is life. God said, “I am the way, I am the life, I am the truth.” So if you’re saying the truth, you are with God. So, love does not tell lies. Anybody you love, you don’t tell them lies. You don’t tell them lies. You want them to know the truth and it is only the truth that will set us free.
