Stations of the Cross Prayers & Lego Build
Are you familiar with the Stations of the Cross? We went to go visit these life-sized statues that show the stations of the cross, and we also built them out of Legos! Today, we’ll be guiding you through the stations of the cross. Those are special reflections that help us pray and remember what Jesus did on his way to the cross on Good Friday. It was a sad day, but also the day that Jesus showed us how much he loves us. Let’s pray the stations together as we remember what Jesus did on Good Friday.
The 10 Commandments Explained (For Kids)
God gave us the 10 commandments to Moses a long time ago to teach us basic rules for living in love, the way God wants us to. Theyre like an instruction guide. And even though they are really old, Jesus thought they were important too. Those rules are still good for each one of us to know and live by today. The first three commandments talk about how you should treat God. The other 7 are for the way you treat others. Lets learn about each commandment and what it means for us!
Stories of our Blessed Mother Mary
There are so many reasons why Mary is special to us. She is the Mother of Jesus and as disciples of Jesus, we ourselves can also accept Mary as our Mother. Mary continues to inspire us to love Jesus more every day. It’s like if Jesus shines bright like the sun, Mary is like the moon that reflects his light. In this episode, we’ll talk about who Mary is, play out some of our favorite stories about Mary, and show why we love our blessed mother so much. Check the video out and let’s get started!
What is Ash Wednesday? (For Kids)
Have you ever heard of Ash Wednesday? Ash Wednesday seems a little bit strange but it has a really special meaning. Fr. Tim’s gonna tell us all about it in this video. We will explain the significance of Ash Wednesday, why people receive ashes on their foreheads, the meaning behind the ashes, and how Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season.
The Seven Sacraments (For Kids)
What if seeing God isn’t about trying harder, but desiring Him more simply? For this week the friars turn to the Beatitude: “Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.” In this episode, they explore what purity of heart really means, not moral perfection, but a heart that looks to Jesus without distraction, without divided desires, without constantly turning back toward the world. They talk about intimacy with God, the battle against distraction, how sin clouds our vision, and how purity isn’t about hating yourself but forgetting yourself so you can finally fix your gaze on the One who loves you. Through the lens of St. Francis, the saints, and our own daily struggles, this conversation invites us to reorient our hearts toward the Father and receive again the joy that comes from seeing Him clearly. Walk with us as we learn to desire what He desires and see God in a new and life-changing way.
